Celebrating an Incredible Achievement: Our Project Assistant Takes Fundraising to New Heights.
28th November 2025
Every so often, someone on our team does something so bold, so wholehearted, and so full of community spirit that it deserves to be shouted from the rooftops. Today, we’re celebrating exactly that. Over the past few months, our Project Assistant has taken on not one but two major personal challenges, running a half marathon and completing a sky dive all to raise vital funds for the projects that support our young people, families, and wider community.
Training for a half marathon is no small feat. It takes discipline, determination, and a whole lot of grit. But what made this run truly special was the motivation behind it: every mile was dedicated to strengthening the programmes that help our participants feel confident, connected, and supported. Crossing that finish line wasn’t just a personal victory, it was a powerful statement of commitment to the work we do together.
As if 13.1 miles weren’t enough, our Project Assistant then took fundraising to a whole new level… 10,000 feet in the air, to be exact.
And they didn’t do it alone.
Their partner bravely joined them for the sky dive, taking the leap side by side in support of our projects. It was a moment that captured not only courage, but the strength of shared purpose two people stepping into the unknown together to make a difference for our community. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to both of them. Their combined effort, energy, and bravery have raised an incredible amount of support for our programmes, helping us continue to deliver inclusive, meaningful opportunities for people across our community. We are deeply grateful not only for the funds raised, but for the heart, courage, and enthusiasm poured into every step and every second of freefall.
Achievements like this remind us what’s possible when passion meets purpose. They inspire our team, our volunteers, and our participants to dream big, try new things, and believe in their own potential.
We couldn’t be prouder.
